SAU On Campus Hult Prize Competition Final Tomorrow 

The much anticipated SAU On Campus Hult Prize Competition 2021 final round is going to commence on 1st December. It’s finally here. The team that will move on to the next round will be determined in tomorrow’s finale.

Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) is hosting the competition a second time. The esteemed reputed university had organized the competition on their campus on 2019 as well. Last year, Team Firefly won the competition and took one million dollar home which was awarded to the team.

Overview: SAU On Campus Round 2021

The motto was set “Food for Good” for the Hult Prize Competition 2021.  Out of 41 brilliant teams, 8 were chosen as finalists for this year’s installment of the campus round. The first round commenced back in November 13, 2020. That is when the 8 finalists where determined. 

The 8 finalist teams are- Awake Agrophilic Impactors, Team Uploadion, Agri Waver, Magic Meal, Bull’s Eye, Team Gambit, Strikers and Latebees. One of them will be selected as the winner of the competition.

A few special grooming sessions were arranged for the final 8 teams. On 20th November, one of the grooming sessions commenced. The CEO and Co-founder of EcoVia Ltd. Md. Rashik Hassan talked to the teams and shared his insight and knowledge. Another grooming session commenced on 23rd November. It was led by Jannatul Tazreen, Mubasshir Tahmid, and Maisha Rafa Khan. 

This year’s Campus Director is Rifatul Islam. He is the head of Financial at Greeniculture. Him and the staff team made sure the competition went on smoothly and be deemed as a success. In his words, “Dream to achieve your goal, differentiate you from mass. Most of us dream to see our position higher but only a few work harder for it else everyone would be next Bill Clinton or Jack Ma or Elon Musk. Innovating your ideas can take you to the ultimate roof. So, keep innovating and work harder for a circular economy with zero hunger for food.”

The Final of Campus Round

The final of the SAU On Campus Hult Prize Competition 2021 will commence on 1st December, 2020 (6:30 pm BDT). It will be conducted online via ZOOM platform. The winning team will receive a total of $1 million.

You’ll have to wait a bit more to know about the judges’ panel. But it can assured that it is going to be well decorated. The SAU On Campus Hult Prize Competition 2021 final round is sure to be a successful one. We will be waiting eagerly for the results, what about you?

At the same year, “Alipay”, the Chinese mobile payment giant owned by Alibaba Group, bought 20 percent stakes in Bangladesh’s largest mobile financial services provider “bKash Limited”. Alibaba, the Chinese multinational technology company that works in e-commerce, retail, internet, and technology, was founded in 1999. It is one of the top 10 most valuable corporations and is named the 31st-largest public company in the world on the Forbes Global 2020 list. In December 2020, the Chinese authorities launched an investigation into the alleged monopolistic practices of Alibaba Group.
