Program Description 

Several national and state initiatives, including the Student Startup and Innovation Program, the State Nodal Institute for Startup, and the RAFTAAR Agri-Business Incubator (R-ABI), all receive funding and support from the Agri. & Food Business Incubator at AAU.

There are eight separate pilot plants within the Food Business incubation center, all of which are outfitted with cutting-edge agro and food processing gear. in addition, there is a state-of-the-art NABL-approved Food Quality Testing Laboratory. India’s current prime minister, Shri Narendra Modi, officially opened the Agri. & Food Business Incubator, AAU, on September 30th, 2018.

The university’s Agri. & Food Business Incubator, AAU has all of the cutting-edge machinery needed to run well. The availability of cutting-edge pilot facilities is a significant asset. The Incubation Centre has been granted permission by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India to produce, sell, and rebrand a variety of food items.

The Agri. & Food Business Incubator, AAU, has a fully operational and available physical infrastructure, including conference rooms, classrooms, auditorium, dormitories, guest house, workshop, etc. with all the essential amenities.

About the Organizers

Anand Agricultural University features a Food Processing Incubator. AAU’s Agri. & Food Business Incubator contains eight pilot plants with the latest agro and food processing gear and a NABL-accredited Food Quality Testing Laboratory. Shri Narendra Modi, India’s Prime Minister, inaugurated AAU on September 30, 2018. The university has experts in all subsectors of agriculture and the agri-food industry.

AAU’s Agri. & Food Business Incubator has the essential equipment to operate. Modern pilot plants are a strength. The Incubation Centre has FSSAI licenses for food manufacture, selling, and relabeling.

Agri. & Food Business Incubator, AAU has fully working lecture rooms, classrooms, auditorium, hostels, guest homes, workshops, etc.

​The incubation center is financed by RAFTAAR Agri-Business Incubator (R-ABI), State Nodal Institute for Startup, Student Start-up and Innovation Program, and Agri Clinic and Agri Business Clinic (ACABC) on Food Processing.
