Startup.com based on the rise and fall of internet companies during the dotcom bubble. Startup.com is a perfect documentary film that follows the story of GovWorks and how a startup failed because of mismanagement and internal power struggles. And because of internal politics friendships can turn into bitter rivalries.

Based on the real-life story of female entrepreneur Joy Mangano. Through this movie viewers can explore the obstacles that only women face. Her journey as a divorced mother of two and her endless hurdles in both personal and professional never stopped her. Now she is Globally recognised as the inventor of the Miracle Mop. 

Specially for women entrepreneurs, I will highly recommend this movie.

The Founder is about the biopic of the American fast-food tycoon Ray Kroc. His journey from a milkshake mixer salesman who eventually transformed McDonald’s as a chain restaurant. which later became a global franchise and biggest chain restaurant business in the world.

Probably the best brand in the world Apple. Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, is also the title of the movie. Movie shows pivotal points in Jobs’ life

6. Thank You for Smoking

Thank You for Smoking is the movie that will teach you the techniques of getting a master in marketing or selling any product. The plot of the movie revolves around Big Tobacco’s chief spokesman, Nick Naylor, who defends the cigarette industry. In business a very essential aspect is Selling. You need to sell your service, product or may be information. This movie will teach you that it is possible to sell anything. 

7. The Pursuit of Happyness

The Pursuit of Happyness is based on true story the life of entrepreneur Chris Gardner’s. His journey to overcome unbelievable circumstances and his hard work to achieve his dreams. Those Circumstances that are also familiar with the entrepreneurs who are about to start their journey. He was homeless with his son; doing a 6-month unpaid internship as a stockbroker; how his first business face lost and he stepped in this situation but never let go his dreams. 8. The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley

The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley a documentary that follows the rise and fall of Theranos, a multibillion dollar biotech company that was set to transform the healthcare industry. 

Documentary focuses on how the founder and company’s COO engaged in fraudulent practices to mislead investors and business partners.

A great movie about greed and capitalism. Greed is good, a dialogue in this movie from antagonist Gordon Gekko. This movie tells the story of Bud Fox, a young and ambitious stockbroker who jumped into 1980’s stock exchange.

17. Boiler Room

Movie takes us into a deep sea of greed and corruption in American business. An intelligent and ambitious college dropout Seth Davis runs a casino in his apartment. He got a job in a small stock brokerage firm. Then he manages a position in the company’s “boiler room,” where he makes cold calls to lure clients. 

Breaking the law in order to keep his bosses happy Stocks, cold calling, dirty dealings negative aspects one can find in this movie which is also related with Wall Street.

Sooner or later AI(Artificial Intelligence) is going to take over the world. It’s a Sci-fi movie that tells a story of an AI software and soon it goes with a relationship with his client. And later the client found that his AI also has many other  relations because it’s just an AI that works for his customer who bought it. Movie is all about how AI itself developed its managing system to give better outcomes for those who are using it. People who are interested in tech startups it’s a must watch for them.

20. The Great Hack

The Great Hack is a documentary film that takes the audience deep into the Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal. 

Facebook had taken the personal data of millions of Facebook users without their consent and with Cambridge Analytica used it for political political influence in cases like Brexit and Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The documentary reveals the extent Facebook goes to harvest our personal data. 

21. The Social Dilemma

Though one can argue how this amazing documentary can be related with startups. But I will highly recommend this documentary. This documentary focuses on social media tactics. We all know social media like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat are mining out datas but to what extent they do it and how they commercial those datas into their advertisement we can know from this.

Social media took our information from us and they are selling advertisements to us on the basis of our personal data.
