f you’re a woman entrepreneur, then “She Loves Tech” would be a popular name for you, right? They will arrange a competition in Bangladesh which is “SHE LOVES TECH Bangladesh 2020”
But if you still have no idea about “She Loves Tech,” then let’s introduce you at first.
It’s the largest platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase and receive appreciation for their talents. This first global startup competition works as a bridge to connect women entrepreneurs worldwide.
Since 2015, the “She Loves Tech” competition is organized for women entrepreneurs from more than 20 countries around the world. They feel committed to building technology and innovation and also entrepreneurship friendly ecology.
Their primary focus is on creating more opportunities for women, which led them to organize a competition like “She Loves Tech.”
In the last four years, “She Loves Tech” has raised funds over $100M for more than 2000 startups from 30 countries, which joined the competition. Previous finalists have received funding from most popular investors like Microsoft, Amazon, Wavemaker, Vertex Ventures, etc.
It has set an aim to establish an exciting environment and develop the qualities of women leaders and their startups in the tech industry.
SHE LOVES TECH Bangladesh 2020
Like the previous five years, “She Loves Tech” is going to organize the most significant event for women entrepreneurs this year too. “She Loves Tech Bangladesh 2020” is expected to be one of the most considerable startup competitions this year again.
Due to the pandemic time, this year, the event will be happening virtually. The official regional partner of “She Loves Tech” in Bangladesh this year is Turtle Venture. The ICT Ministry will support the development, Senoark Digital, EMK Centre, Women in Digital, and Dhaka Cast.
The eligibility criteria of participants –
- The participating startup should be at an early stage seeking funds (Under US$5M).
- Must have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- The participant can be a male or female founder who has to own a technology startup. But the startup must be about technology impacting women positively.
- Most of the users should be female.
- Women should own the maximum number as consumers.

The winner of this competition will receive in-house advisory services, many special media, and mentorship prizes. They will also get an equity-free cash prize of US$1500, which they can use for the development of the startup. Moreover, fast track access to the partner funds and accelerators of “She Loves Tech” will be made available for the winner.
The online registration for this exciting event in Bangladesh started on 10th July 2020. Registration will be closed on 30th September 2020. So hurry up and register your name or your startup’s name for “She Loves Tech Bangladesh 2020” as soon as possible!
