SAU On Campus Hult Prize Competition 1st Round Programme 

The SAU on campus Hult prize competition 2021 1st round programme has commenced successfully on 13th November. The day long arrangement of the eagerly awaited 1st round programme has been conducted fully online.

This is the second time the Hult prize competition has been arranged on Sher-e-Bangla agricultural university. The motto of this year’s competition is “Food for Good”. 

The 1st round of the competition saw a full registration of 41 teams of young entrepreneurs. Among them, 39 teams participated throughout the full round. Each team built up their own business ideas and presented those to the judges.

At the end of the competition, judges selected 8 teams with the business ideas they deemed as the best ones for the next round. They will proceed to the regional round.

Judges and Participants

The judges of the SAU on campus Hult prize competition 1st round programme were- Saiful Islam Shawon- Professor, agribusiness and marketing department  (faculty of agribusiness management); Mir Mohammad Ali- Professor, Aquaculture department (faculty of fisheries aquaculture and marine science).

The teams chosen for the final round are- Awake Agrophilic Impactors, Team Uploadion, Agri Waver, Magic Meal, Bull’s Eye, Team Gambit, Strikers and Latebees. Out of almost 40 teams they are the 8 teams that have won the first round of the campus round.

The title partner for the competition is Farming Future Bangladesh. The Daily Ittefaq is the print media, Somoy TV is the electronic media partner, strategic partner EMK Center, Bahubrihi is the E-Learning partner, content partner is Upstarters and Greeniculture is the good food partner.

The 8 teams are definitely eager and under preparation of competing in the next round. The next round of the competition is set to commence on 28th November. That leaves the 1st round winners with two weeks of prep-time.
