After registrations ceased on 21st of December 2020, a total of 11 enthusiastic and determined teams moved on to the next stage of the EWU Hult Prize Competition 2021 On Campus Round. The participants attended grooming sessions.
The Campus Director for Hult Prize Competition On Campus 2021 at East West University was Sumaiya Haque who arranged the whole program online, which is why the grooming sessions went smoothly.
EWU Hult Prize 2021 On Campus Grooming Sessions Held
The grooming sessions for the EWU Hult Prize Competition 2021 On Campus were named HULTIVERSE. The panels were decorated with special guests who conducted the grooming sessions.
HULTIVERSE Session-1
The first session of HULTIVERSE was held on 19th December, 2020. The session was held via Google Meet platform at 8 pm in the evening. The host for the first session was Team Business Tycoons. They were the first ever finalists from the regional round from Hult Prize at EWU 2020.
The session continued where they shared their journey through Hult Prize, the whole experience. The session included questions from the participants which the team explained with their earned experiences. They also talked about the methods of approaching a case and presentation of the solutions the participants will offer.
HULTIVERSE Session-2
The second session of HULTIVERSE was held on 26th December, 2020. The session was held via Google Meet platform at 8 pm in the evening, same as the first session. The host for the second session was special guest- Fahim Shahriar. He is the Regional Associate for Asia of the Hult Prize Global Team.
The honoured guest shared his insights and advices to the young participants throughout the session. The theme of the session was “What to expect in a Hult Prize On Campus Final”. The participants were welcome to inquire about the final of on campus round to the host.
Both of those sessions were conducted successfully. After that the participants were expected to start preparing for their finale of the EWU Hult Prize Competition On Campus 2021 Round. Keeping the challenge “Food for Good” in mind, they were to prepare for the upcoming final round.
