The leading mobile financial services (MFS) provider in the nation, bKash, has started a program called “bTechWhiz” to find and nurture digital talent. Through this competitive program, they will be hired from different campuses through a rigorous process and developed with first-hand learning opportunities.
bKash Launches bTechWhiz to JumpStart Talent Hunt from University Graduates
This flagship recruitment and development program of bKash has recently been launched with a recruitment test at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and will be soon on the BRACU campus. More than 350 students participated in its first phase. Students from the respective institutes can register for bTechWhiz online.
A lecture titled “Technology and Beyond” was held prior to the test by Mozammel Haque, head of software research and engineering, and Intekhab Sadekin, head of solution architecture and planning at bKash.
Through the ‘bTechWhiz’ flagship program, in the same manner, bKash will offer direct employment prospects to technology and engineering graduates from different university campuses. After joining bKash, each of them will get the opportunity to enrich and develop their skills under a specific mentor through specific assignments and specialized training.
Gradually, bKash will provide direct employment opportunities to technology and engineering graduates from other university campuses through ‘bTechWhiz’; a flagship program in the same process.
Students selected for the campus recruitment test under this program will go through a few other phases of the recruitment process and finally get the opportunity to work in the product and technology team.
bKash also conducts a management trainee program ‘GenNext Leader’ for university students to help them attain maximum career growth. Moreover, bKash provides students with hands-on work experience by conducting a paid internship program.
