“Be The Star of Entrepreneurship” Mentorship Sessions: Marketing 101
Nazmul Ahmed is a virtual CMO and marketing consultant. He has a firm named Najm Consulting. He specializes in working as a marketing manager in different firms and handles the marketing divisions independently.
The session kicked off with general niceties between the mentor and the participants. The session went on to discuss the definition and simplification of what marketing is and how to understand the target audience base. He referred to marketing as a medium via which a problem can find a solution.
He stated that there are differences between having made a product and making an offer for that product. To reach a certain target audience you also have to understand the scope of your potential customer base. Then he moved on to discuss how to make an offer and market your products according to the collected data and how to appeal to the customer base so the “problem can find a solution”.
The session continued as he discussed further how to make better decisions and launch marketing in a business and the different aspects of it. Such as building websites and an excellent landing page, social media advertisements, improvisation, and follow-ups.
Then he went in-depth into the tactics of the stages of marketing such as the creation stage, research stage, and finally the decision-making stage. After that, the mentor and the participants had a short question-answer segment where they discussed their own business services, and the mentor provided insights. Lastly, the CTO of Turtle Venture joined the online meeting and gave off a finishing speech, interacting with Nazmul. With that, the session came to an end.
